Gliding is an incredible way to learn to fly, or to polish your skills if you’re an experience pilot!
Soaring is how I learned to fly and it left a great impression on me.
Thanks to Kurt for sharing his footage and inviting me to fly with him! I will definitely be taking him up on the offer; and I’ll be rigging as many GoPros to the sail plane as he’ll let me! 😉

And a HUGE thanks to those that have become a part of the Flight Chops Patreon campaign so far!
We blew through the first mile stone goal in no time, and are already nearing the second!
For those that haven’t seen it, please check the Flight Chops Patreon page to find out how you can be a part of it!

I just realized my voice over might be confusing on this one – I started the edit the morning after the “relaunch” when Kurt’s footage inspired me. (as I say in the video)
But then I worked on it intermittently and tweaked things over the next 4-5 days, which is why I added the part to the voice over about the Patreon campaign doing so well in it’s first few days…
Editing: sometimes it’s seamless and magical, other times it just makes things confusing 😛

DISCLAIMER: I am a “weekend warrior” private pilot, I fly for fun with no intentions of going commercial.I have had my PPL for over 15 years, but still consider each flight a learning experience – I generally take detailed notes after each flight to remind myself what went well or what I could do to improve…. Having the GoPro cameras to record flights like this is invaluable. I find these self analysis videos very helpful in my constant quest to improve, and am happy to share.Feed back is invited; however, please keep it positive
